Description
The Infection Control RN is a qualified individual with knowledge of CDC guidelines and definitions of nosocomial infections, federal, and state regulations
Current Registered Nurse licensure in State of Mississippi
Minimum 5 years experience in a hospital or five years in infection control or experience in Microbiology
Working knowledge of asepsis and microbiology, good oral and written, infectious diseases, aseptic techniques communication, good judgement in implementing appropriate infection control practices and procedures
Must demonstrate the ability to recognize patients individual needs based on medical condition, age limitations and planned procedures
