Delta Health System is seeking a dedicated Histology Technician to join our patient-focused team.

Requirements:

• Receives and accurately processes surgical or diagnostic tissue specimens from various hospital departments and physician offices
• Accurately prepares histologic slides from tissue sections for microscopic examination and diagnosis by Pathologist
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Histology Technician training at a certified training program/healthcare careers college or under the supervision of a Pathologist for 1-2 years
• Current Histology Technician certification by a nationally recognized agency
