Description
Delta Health System is seeking a Surgery Nurse Manager to be responsible for the overall direction, management, and performance of Surgical Services to include Ambulatory Care, GI Lab, Surgery, and Anesthesia Technician.
Provides leadership to Surgical Services staff
Consults with staff, Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and Director of Nursing on nursing issues to consistently strive to exceed standards of patient care.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, baccalaureate degree or current enrollment in a program
Current Mississippi Registered Nurse Licensure
3 or more years of previous experience in all aspects of medical surgical nursing and a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
ACLS and BLS certification
At least 5 years of nursing and surgical experience, including minimum of three years in a leadership position
