Description
Responsible for conducting a range of neurodiagnostic procedures including electroencephalograms (EEGs) and nerve conduction studies (NCS), with additional value placed on experience or certification in sleep technology.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or formal training in Neurodiagnostic or Electroneurodiagnostic Technology preferred.
Sleep technology certification (e.g., RPSGT, CPSGT, or RST) required.
EEG experience required or complete required organizational training under the supervision of a neurologist; ABRET certification (R. EEG T.) preferred or obtained within 12 months of hire.
Experience in performing Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) preferred.
Strong knowledge of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and sleep staging.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a clinical setting
Exposure to patients of all ages and a range of neurological conditions
Current BLS certification
